Under normal physiological conditions, the PDO material is gradually absorbed within approximately 6–9 months, providing temporary structural support without remaining permanently in the tissue.
To protect material stability:
After unpacking, raw PDO material is immediately transferred into vacuum drying ovens rather than being stored in open containers.
Moisture testing is performed after production and before final packaging to prevent degradation during storage.
Threads that do not meet internal tension or humidity standards are removed before packaging.
This controlled handling helps prevent premature degradation before clinical use.
